To date, we’ve spent ~ $30,000 on Veterinary Expenses alone since opening. Another way to get an idea of costs: Last year, our total expenses also came in at ~ $30,000. If we had just 109 Monthly Supporters or Boggle Box Subscribers giving $23/month - ALL our approx. expenses would be covered. Can’t do $23? That’s OK! EVERY BIT HELPS! Reliable financial support is 1 of the most critical aspects to ensure our work is sustained. With this, we won’t be left scrambling for funds before accepting new intakes or having funds aside for emergency subsidies. Why is this preparedness important?

In our 2nd year, we spent over $30,000 helping rats in need. We had to scramble for emergencies, and work incredibly hard to keep up. We’re hoping that for our 3rd year, we can stay ahead of the game with some more reliable support from you wonderful people. We have been contacted about 4 rats who will be euthanized on THIS FRIDAY July 28 if they do not find a place to stay. We're urgently looking for new foster homes who can take them in. This is these rats' last chance, but we can't save them without your help!
