Age on arrival: ~ 6 months Sex: Male Here since: Dec 4/2021 Roommates: Beans From: Kingston Humane Society (KHS), born in care
Meet Toast! He has spent his entire life in foster care, first at the KHS, now with us. That's a whole half a year! This is a significant amount of time for rats, who's lifespans are typically only 2-3 years. Toast and his brother Beans need a home together ASAP. These boys are losing their foster home in early February. We really want to make this their last move. Keep reading. You're gonna love him!
Little Toast is very close to his brother Beans. They're both handsome boys with poor eyesight. They LOVE life and are quite the pair. They're appropriately named... Beans is the protein, Toast is the Carbs. Toast is friendly, mellow, and loves to cuddle up with his brother (every chance he gets - when his hyper sibling calms down). Unlike Beans (who is pretty much always wanting to jump around on humans), Toast prefers not to be held, but he likes pets and treats. In fact, Toast's favourite daily activites are to eat, and sleep! Curious about his polar opposite of a brother - Beans? Check out his bio too!
We’ll update as we get to know him, but we can tell he has lots of love to give and will make a wonderful companion! It will be a delight to watch Toast grow and enjoy a peaceful life.
