Meet Ellen!
Ellen (9 months old) and Elizabeth (1.5 years old) are new to us, and really need some peace. This pair needs to be adopted together, with someone who can show then what love is! They came to us from KHS, who has been doing so much crisis response for rats this year! They were found abandoned in a dumpster, Elizabeth in particular was very filthy when they took her in, and she was also pregnant. They were at the KHS for 5 whole months!
Joining an existing mischief of other girls (or adopting them alongside some of our younger female adoptables) would be especially great for them, but having a quiet, patient person or two is what's most important for these precious girls. They have some socialization needs, and their foster is working patiently with them! If you think you can continue this work, and give these girls the second chance they deserve - reach out. They’ve been through such hardships and have waited far too long! These girls deserve to live out their lives in a loving home.
We’ll update as we get to know them, but we can tell they have lots of love to give and will come around once trust is built! It will be a delight to watch these two finally enjoy a peaceful life.
