Oreo, Chocolate Chip, M&M Age on arrival: ~ 6 weeks Sex: Male Here since: Dec 4/2021 From: Kingston Humane Society (KHS), born in care
Meet Chocolate Chip, M&M, and Oreo! These brothers were born in foster care and currently all live together. Oreo is the most confident, social, and inquisitive with people. They love their free-roam time, and being carried around by their Foster Dads. M&M bounces between them all. Chocolate Chip (with white "socks" above his feet) tends to keep to himself and do his own thing most of the time. He's still hesitant to come out of the cage, but is learning to trust - watching his more eager brothers helps. He does love his brother-cuddles though!
These young boys are at the absolute ideal age for them to be introduced to adult males? Bucks between the ages of 7-14 weeks are unlikely to be seen as a threat to adult males, and are typically easily accepted into the group. With that being said, how smooth intros go is always dependent on the individual personalities of the rats, and intros among babies are even easier. We are here to support you through intros and any other learnings, forever!
All 3 of these boys are super playful, friendly, and getting lots of socialization in their foster home! We’ll update as we get to know them, but we can tell they all have lots of love to give and will make wonderful, fun companions! It will be a delight to watch them grow and live their best lives. They need to be adopted as a group.
