Bean, Digby, & Slippery Pete Age on arrival: ~ 1 year Sex: Male Here since: February 22/2022 From: Provincial Animal Welfare Services (PAWS), hoarding situation
Meet Bean, Digby, & Slippery Pete! A fun trio! They’re bonded, a bit shy, and very gentle. They’re explorative and easy to handle. Their foster describes Bean as particularly hilarious: cleaning himself like no one’s around, and climbing all over checking things out on his first night. Slippery Pete is aptly named - he’s slippery! Digby lands somewhere in between the two.
They love being pet on the top of their heads lightly, and that allows them to chill out on their foster dad’s arm and enjoy some cuddles! Sweet Bean is also the most cuddly of the three!
These three came from a situation where they had freeroam of the house with 300+ other rats. So, they’re getting used to cage-life. They would be best suited for a family who is able to give them a lot of enrichment and supervised freeroam time. We will update as we get to know them, but we can tell they will be fun and loving companions!
