**Losing their Foster Home August 26! We would love to see them find their forever home ASAP!**
Meet Mumma, Knuckles, and Peachy! Age on arrival: 6 weeks (Knuckles and Peachy) 6 months (Mumma) Sex: Female Fostered in: Stouffville Here since: June 17/2022 From: Northumberland Humane Society (NHS)
Update from their Foster Family (August 8/2022):
“They're starting to get really brave (at night during their friskies). Even Mumma came up to to sniff my hand yesterday without biting me! 😊” And:
“Knuckles climbed out of the cage yesterday on the door just to loop back but still... she's going a little further each day. I'd love to keep that going. I think they really have potential to be little lovebugs.” Mumma, Kunckles, and Peachy are waiting for their people! These girls are a ton of fun, rambunctious and ready to meet someone who can continue helping them to see what the good life is all about! The young ones are generally found racing around, bugging Mumma a bit much, and snuggling in a bunch! They are being fostered in Stouffville with a dedicated family who is working hard on gaining their trust. Mumma is a biter. She is understandably fearful of people and we’re hoping her new people can be proactive in socializing her daughters, patient with Mumma, and that she will learn from this new gen!
Mumma needs to go to an experienced home with her girls. She does not charge, her aggression is not out of possessiveness, but she does bite hard. With patience, she could come around - but she needs people who are committed to working with her. Knuckles and Peachy are young, and with proper socialization, they will likely blossom despite their mom’s hesitancies. They’re still skittish at times, but curious and have already felt safe enough to crawl on their Foster Mom. Knuckles is the more curious and brave of the two.
