Our Brux Box is filled with goodies your rats will love! The items included here have been handmade by volunteers, or discounted to us from small businesses. Each box is unique! Here’s what’s may be in our Brux Box:
- cozy, fleece hammock (variety of patterns and sizes)
- cozy, hanging foam and fleece bucket
- pear tree perch (variety)
- kiln-dried pine ledge (various lengths)
- hand-braided climbing rope (12-16” manila 5-plait, or unbleached natural cotton 3-plait)
- recycled hanging forage toy (beta or alpha-level)
- pear tree twig bundle (10)
- forage ball (vine or recycled)
- bag of Mischief Chips!
- manila twists
- The box and packing material itself (crinkle paper) make for great enrichment too!
- Any combination of the above, or other unlisted items! It's a mystery box!

Our goal with the Brux Box is to have these high quality products enrich the lives of many rats, so we keep them priced relatively affordable. Another goal is to raise funds for vet care and other needs. If you are able to add a donation on top of the cost, it is greatly appreciated, though not necessary. Please also let us know if you are struggling to financially provide for your rats, and we will see what we can do.
Boxes vary slightly. Each is unique. Contents also sold individually.

*Please note that these products are meant to be used responsibly - that means you need to ensure your animal is only using them safely, and you are expected to keep an eye on the condition, and repair or remove as needed. We recommend hand-washing for each of these products (hammocks can be machine washed as well!)
Hammocks were discounted to us from Pebble Fleece Goodies. Ledges and perches were handcrafted and donated by George Lusted. Pear tree branches were donated by Laurie Robbins. All other items were handmade and donated by anonymous volunteers (except the box and crinkle paper).
