November is “Adopt a Senior” month.
Doc & Marty are our two most senior rats, at 2 years old. They’re also our longest stays (9 months). These boys came from an animal cruelty investigation. They're shy and sweet. Doc will snuggle, and despite his older age, Marty is adventurous. They’d love to retire with you. These boys are on their third month of being our “Rats of the Month” and we are hopeful it’s their lucky one. They need a quieter home and a family with some rat experience because of their age and shyness. We thought we’d share a testimonial from their Foster Parent, who they’ve made a lasting impression on (swipe to see the evidence)!: “Doc & Marty! These boys are generally found curled up in a cozy corner. They love their free time, they like to search boxes and bins for a place to hide out, or find a tasty treat. They are big on naps, love cozy blankets, love to forage!! They’ve been a lot of fun to take care of. Doc is easier to handle, generally one to snuggle in for a few moments and enjoy a pet, a cheek stroke, or a tummy tickle. He’s also most likely to find a quiet corner or box to hide in during free time. Marty is on the go! He wants to explore, no time for cuddles for this boy - except for the sweet moment he decides to sit with you in your hands, against your body, and just chill. …I got it done earlier this summer to represent fostering for Rainbow Rats Doc & Marty are my little old man hermit fosters. They’re so cute when I first bring them down for the day. All bright eyed and bushy tailed.” Please fill out an Adoption Application through our website if you can give Doc & Marty a forever home! And please, SHARE!
